What a review date proves

A review date proves only that GSE examined the listed source on that date. It does not guarantee that a manufacturer model remains active, that a standard has not changed, that GSE has a commercial relationship or that a statement remains correct indefinitely.

Time-sensitive commercial facts—price, inventory, lead time, territory, warranty and commercial availability—are intentionally excluded from this register. Those belong in a current written quotation.

Correction discipline

When a material source changes, GSE will update the affected resource, record the modification date and preserve the reason for the change. If a statement cannot be supported, it should be removed rather than defended with a weaker secondary source.
