Airflow Visualization Study Planner

Estimate observation minutes and crew hours from the study structure before selecting equipment, rental duration or field resources.

Estimate the work envelope

Use the approved protocol or draft study map to enter zones, observation points, duration, repeats, crew, setup, cleanup and contingency.

Study estimate

Complete the fields to calculate observation time, elapsed work and crew hours.

What the estimate should trigger

A long observation sequence may change the required fogger runtime, consumable plan, rental period, battery/power strategy, hose routing, camera storage, staffing and access window. A complex intervention script may require dry runs before recording. Positive-pressure enclosures and restrictive routes may require a delivery test before the field date.

The planner intentionally does not decide how many observation points are required or whether the proposed duration is adequate. Those decisions belong to the governing standard, approved protocol, risk assessment and authorized quality/engineering functions.

Build the acceptance package before the field day

  • Approved scope, operating state and intervention list
  • Room/enclosure map and camera positions
  • Fogger placement, hose route and outlet arrangement
  • Working-fluid and safety controls
  • Lighting, contrast, labels and time synchronization
  • Expected evidence, review owner and deviation process

Sources and methodology

These sources establish the external technical or publishing boundary used by this resource. They do not replace the current standard, manufacturer documentation, contract, protocol or approved quality-system record.

Decision boundary: The planner estimates effort from user-entered assumptions. It does not determine protocol adequacy, required sample locations, compliance or passing criteria.
Current written scope

Turn this research into a controlled technical request.

Send the application, model, specification or drawing. GSE will preserve the technical lane, identify missing scope and verify current commercial details without treating website copy as an offer.

  • Unique request reference
  • Completeness score
  • Technical-lane routing
  • No fabricated channel or inventory claims
