Calibration standards procurement template
Use this worksheet to prevent a quote comparison from mixing different substrates, particle materials, size assignments, deposition patterns, certificates or handling conditions.
Application
- Inspection or measurement tool
- Calibration, verification or monitoring purpose
- Required response or acceptance decision
- Current standard and reason for replacement
Physical format
- Wafer diameter and substrate

- Full deposition, multispot or custom layout
- Edge exclusion and usable area
Particle/material definition
- PSL, silica or other material
- Nominal or certified size
- Number of sizes
- Target count or concentration
- Size-distribution and tolerance needs
Documentation
- Certificate type
- Traceability statement
- Measurement method
- Uncertainty or tolerance
- Lot/serial identification
Handling and lifecycle
- Packaging and storage
- Cleanliness restrictions
- Recertification expectation
- Maximum acceptable age
- Return, inspection or replacement process

- Import or documentation needs
- Approved alternates or no-substitution rule
Similar labels can hide a different standard
A “300 mm PSL wafer” description is incomplete. The inspection platform, particle size, count, deposition geometry, surface, certificate, uncertainty and handling requirements can determine whether two quotes are actually comparable.
When replacing an incumbent standard, provide its certificate, tool recipe, observed response and any interface or lifecycle constraints. Do not assume recertification and new manufacture produce the same evidence.
Turn this research into a controlled technical request.
Send the application, model, specification or drawing. GSE will preserve the technical lane, identify missing scope and verify current commercial details without treating website copy as an offer.
- Unique request reference
- Completeness score
- Technical-lane routing
- No fabricated channel or inventory claims
