Cleanroom Validation Equipment Matrix

Map eight common cleanroom and controlled-environment workflows to the primary equipment, supporting systems, technical inputs and records that must be controlled.

Equipment is only one layer of validation

A fogger does not create a defensible smoke study by itself. A particle counter does not define the classification sample plan. A photometer does not establish the challenge aerosol or acceptance criteria. The equipment, method, operating state, support system and evidence record have to be designed as one workflow.

This matrix prevents a common procurement failure: buying the primary instrument while leaving the test method, interfaces, accessories, data and acceptance package undefined. It helps technical and quality teams see what must be settled before a quote becomes an implementation plan.

Preserve the evidence

Require calibration, setup maps, raw data, video, reports, deviations, training, software records and approved conclusions as applicable.
